At Be-Bop Joe’s LLC, our Restored Soda Machines consist of the following:
- All machines are first completely disassembled, down to every nut and bolt.
- All parts are then bead blasted, including, the main unit, inside and out. “Bead Blasting” is a process by which abrasives grits are blasted on to the surface of a material using compressed air. The effect is to gouge away all dirt, grease, rust and etc. from the surface where it is exposed. This preps the machine nicely for all body and paint work.
- The main unit is completely gone over to ensure a very smooth finish.
- Vending shoes, drums, shelves, door liners and inner cabinet liners are powder coated. Powder coating is a process where the paint is baked under extreme temperature to provide a rust-proof, hard to chip finish.
- Professionally painted and clear coated to provide a hard, shiny finish.
- Embossed lettering is hand painted by a professional sign painter. You will not get better quality.
- Brand new energy efficient insulation is placed in the interior of the main unit and door areas.
- New rubber door gaskets.
- Depending on the style of the machine, all chrome is replated / polished.
- New stainless steel screws and bolts.
- Coin mechanisms, are fully inspected and cleaned to insure that they are functioning like new.
- Standard decals will be placed on the machine and each customer gets to choose from a variety of dress-up decals. Additional decals are available.
- Let’s not forget the refrigeration unit! There are 2 options to choose from:
Option #1 – to have the original unit restored back to original condition. The evaporator housing, as well as the condenser, are disassembled, repainted, rewired, and brand new fan motors are added.
Option #2 – to have a brand new lower deck compressor unit added to the machine. This includes a brand new compressor, condenser, fan motors and all new wiring.
- 2 year parts/labor warranty
- All inquires, please email Be-Bop Joe or call (703)-606-0498. Restoration projects are very detailed and time limits depend on a lot of variables. Prices do not include shipping/crating.
We also provide Option #3 – Partial Restoration. This is more of a cosmetic option – new paint, all new wiring, new thermostat, making sure everything works correctly. Call for pricing (703)-606-0498.
Our customers will receive digital photos of the complete restoration – top to bottom. You get to view your machine through all stages of the process. To see an example of what this would look like, click here or on the link at the top of the page
